OUR STORY
The story begun over two decades ago, in the year 2001, when a young Kenyan expatriate couple in Botswana bought a farm in Botswana to experiment on organic vegetable farming. Greenfield was Born.
GREENFIELD became a parent holding company that got evolved from the small farm in Ruretse Botswana, to large scale commercial farming entity in Kenya, later it ventured into mining in Botswana, South Africa, Tanzania and Kenya, then it ventured into Logistic and Security/Tactical support and into Environmental and Waste Management and Civil Engineering and Building Construction, Healthy Fast Food Business/Restaurants, Hospitality and Events Management.

The entity that does civil engineering works of roads, dams, dredging, irrigation, water supply, sewerage reticulation etc. The entity does take on Building constructions works
The entity that does mining and export of general precious stones with mine interests in Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanganyika, DRC and Kenya
The entity that deals with purchase of rough diamonds, processing and sales Botswana, Lesotho, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanganyika, DRC and Kenya

Greengem has access to over 100HA (250acres) of extremely fertile land within Embu County in Kenya. The farms are spread from Gatondo, Kimanag’aru, Cianyi, Rianjeru, Gachoka and Gachuriri areas.
In Botswana, the Company owns a sizable Land in Ruretse area near Gaborone that produces mainly horticultural products and poultry products.
In South Africa, a Greenfield subsidiary has recently acquired an agricultural entity that owns a farm in the Tarlton (Krugersdorp District) area of Gauteng province. The farm is specializing in production of Horticulture, herbs, and the free-range grain fed chicken etc.
The fruit farming and general horticulture is done at our Gachuriri farm in Embu County, Kenya which for exapme produes over 1000 metric tones of Tomamtoes annually and over 500metric tones of water melons over and above production of Capscum and French beans all for export. Herbs cultivation is done at our Kruggertsdorp, South Africa farm while Flowers are cultivated at our Werus farm, all for export.
Greengem operates on farm produce contracting model with consumers, supermarkets, exporters etc.
For example:
Greengem subsidiary is currently contracted by a Middle-East based entity to produce 5000 metric tones of watermelon per month at our Gachuriri farm for the next two years. Another local institution has contracted Grandeur products to supply 1000kg of chicken meat and 2000 eggs per day for 2020.
Grandeur Products deals with protein production through Eggs/Layers, Chicken, Beef, Goat Meat, and Fish Farming.
Currently, Grandeur Products produces 30,000pieces of eggs per day at its Gachoka farm and 1000kg of chicken meat from the Werus farm. Most of these products are distrubeted by Greenfield depots situated at Nairobi, Embu, Mwea, Meru and Chuka. Balance of products are exported to the Middle East and China
A civil engineering construction company specialising in earth moving that overs services in soil preparation, dam building, mass excavation, trenching and ground water drainage, road construction and rehabilitation, River rehabilitation, bulk building material supplies, equipment hire.
Koi Koi Tactical and Logistics is a company registered in South Africa and Kenya that specialises in integrated security solutions that offers the latest technology such as artificial intelligence by in the security sectors of armed response, monitoring, guarding(manpower and canine) etc-
The company also offers supply chain solutions and logistics suited to multinational clients needs especially between Southern, Easter and Central Africa.
